Bill Liston

Bill has been with the practice since 1982 and was admitted as a partner with David Loveband in 1984. During his time at Liston & Clifton Bill has acted in most areas of the law. Today his practice centres mainly on commercial and domestic conveyance, leasing, Wills and Estates, Family Provision Act litigation and some Family Law. He also has lengthy experience in Local and District Court criminal matters and general litigation.

David was educated at St Ignatius College, Riverview and the University of New England. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science), Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in May 2001, having joined Liston and Loveband in 2000. David became a Partner of the Firm in May 2003.

Born and raised in Papua New Guinea, Chris attended boarding school in Sydney for 8 years then attended the Australian National University in Canberra where he graduated in Arts and Law.

Born and raised in Perth, John graduated in Law from Southern Cross University in 1997. Before being admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW in February 2004 he acted as instructing clerk in Supreme and District Court criminal trials in Brisbane and Lismore. He then practiced as a solicitor in Liverpool before escaping the city to become, for a couple of years, a small town solicitor in the Riverina.
